Partner Terms

Terms for schools, partners and education networks buying seats.

What a seat is

One seat gives one learner access to one grade for the seat term. A learner taking two grades needs two seats.

Seat pools

Seats are held in a pool belonging to your organisation. You assign them yourself by issuing single-use invite codes; each redeemed code consumes one seat.

Learner accounts

Learners hold their own VirtualX accounts. A partner never holds a learner's password and cannot sign in as a learner.

Term

Seats run for a fixed term from purchase with no automatic renewal. Unassigned seats expire with the pool.

What a partner can see

A partner can see how many seats are assigned, delegated and available, and a member reference for each. A partner does not receive a learner's personal contact details through the platform.

Acceptable use

Partner use is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. Seats may not be resold outside the arrangement under which they were bought.
